I think this gentleman needs no introduction. His latest album "Compass", released on Nonesuch, is Josh´s strongest outing as a leader on record.

Wow, this is beyond wonderful.
You know, I've been looking all over for a boot of his performance at this years (55th) Newport Jazz Festival, which was excluded from NPR's online trove. He and a double trio just went and broke everything up there, and it was unanimous among folks I spoke to that they spanked the show, all three days worth.
You wouldn't happened to have come across a recording of that would you?
-Of course, if I'd had an edirol 09 in my knapsack this would be different- I'm working on that...
I always look forward to your posts -- this one looks great. Many thanks!
