Sonny Rollins celebrated his 80th birthday on September 7. This concert features Sonny Rollins with his Quintet with a second saxophonist who also plays bagpipes (sic!). Earlier this year Sonny recorded a concert in Montreux, realeased as the record "The Cutting Edge" on Milestone.

Just wondering - when you post something that came from you-know-where, why do you always leave out one track? What happened to "Remembering Tommy"?
Just because "Remembering Tommy" was released on "Sonny, Please" and not part of the 1974 Berlin concert.
and my "you-know-where" is no secret: I recorded this concert like all posts you can find here from radio broadcast directly on my hard drive (radio broadcast -> DVB-C -> elgato eyetv hybrid -> EyeTV -> iTunes).
